Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 quarts peppermint stick ice cream
  • chocolate syrup or chocolate fudge topping
  • crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Combine the crisp rice cereal and melted semi-sweet chocolate chips; mix well.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 10-inch pie plate.
  3. Freeze the crust for 5 minutes.
  4. Spoon the softened peppermint stick ice cream into the crust.
  5. Freeze until ready to serve.
  6. Garnish with chocolate syrup and crushed peppermint candies before serving.
