Ingredients

  • 4 medium green peppers
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Halve the green peppers lengthwise, remove seeds, and wash them.
  2. Lightly mix ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onions, salt, pepper, and half of the tomato sauce.
  3. Pile the meat mixture into the pepper halves and arrange them in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the stuffed peppers.
  5. Cover tightly and bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until the peppers are tender.
