Perfect Icebox Rolls
Soft, buttery icebox rolls with a slightly sweet flavor, perfect for breakfast or dinner sides. Easy to prepare ahead and enjoy fresh baked goodness.

Instructions
- Cream sugar and shortening together until well combined.
- Add boiling water to the mixture and stir well.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding cold water.
- Beat eggs and dissolve yeast in lukewarm water, then add to the mixture.
- Combine salt with flour and sift into the mixture, stirring well but do not knead.
- Cover the dough and place in the refrigerator overnight.
- Remove dough from refrigerator and on a floured surface, shape into rolls by rolling out and cutting.
- Place rolls on cookie sheets and allow to rise for 2 hours.
- Bake in a 425°F oven for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and brush rolls with butter.
