- In a large mixer bowl, stir together 2 cups of flour, dry yeast, sugar, and salt.
- In the center of the bowl, beat in warm water at medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Reduce mixer speed to low, beat in 2 more cups of flour, mayonnaise, and eggs for 2 minutes.
- Beat at medium speed for an additional 2 minutes.
- Stir in just enough of the remaining flour to make an easily handled dough, about 3 cups.
- On a floured surface, knead the dough for 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover.
