Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Combine sifted flour with baking powder and salt.
  2. Cut in Crisco as for pastry until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add water gradually to beaten egg and combine with flour mixture.
  4. Roll out very thin on a floured board.
  5. Cut into squares.
  6. Add the squares to simmering pot pie ingredients and cook until done.
