Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/16 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/16 teaspoon basil or 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Use only the breast of the pheasant and cut it into steaks.
  2. Mix flour, salt, pepper, and oregano (or paprika as a substitute).
  3. Roll the pheasant steaks in the flour mixture to coat evenly.
  4. Heat 1/4 cup of melted butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the coated steaks in the butter for 3 to 5 minutes, turning once until browned and cooked through.
