Ingredients

  • 2 gallons beans, broken and cleaned
  • 1 cup plain salt

Instructions

  1. Cook 2 gallons of beans until done; drain and pour cold water over them to cool.
  2. Put the cooled beans and 1 cup plain salt in a crock.
  3. Let the mixture sit for 14 days to ferment.
  4. After fermentation, put clean water on the beans and transfer them into jars.
  5. Seal the jars and store.
