Ingredients

  • 2 bunches celery
  • 1 tsp. garlic seed
  • 1 tsp. dill seed
  • 1 qt. white vinegar
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • chopped hot pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pack each jar with celery, garlic seed, dill seed, and hot pepper if desired.
  2. Bring vinegar, water, and salt to a rolling boil.
  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the packed jars, covering the celery and seasonings.
  4. Seal the jars.
