Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups precooked rice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Fold a 32-inch length of heavy-duty foil in half; press into a large bowl to form a pouch.
  2. Add all ingredients except rice to the pouch and blend well.
  3. Stir in the precooked rice and mix just to moisten.
  4. Seal the pouch tightly and remove from the bowl.
  5. Place the foil pouch on medium hot coals and cook for about 10 minutes.
  6. Rotate the pouch and continue cooking about 10 minutes longer.
  7. Open the package and fluff the rice before serving.
