Golden brown fried Brie topped with toasted pine nuts offers a rich, nutty flavor perfect for elegant appetizers or casual gatherings with crackers and French bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 roll Brie cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 oz pine nuts
  • bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Dip Brie in lightly scrambled egg, then in bread crumbs.
  2. Saute Brie in olive oil until golden brown.
  3. Place on serving plate.
  4. Remove oil from pan and wipe out with paper towel.
  5. Place pine nuts in the pan.
  6. Cook pine nuts over medium heat until golden brown.
  7. Pour toasted pine nuts over Brie and serve with crackers on French bread.
