- Melt oleo or butter and add flour, then mix in 1/2 cup of pecans.
- Pat the mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes and let cool.
- Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and Cool Whip until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the pistachio pudding with 3 cups of milk until thickened.
- Layer the cooled crust with the cream cheese mixture and pistachio pudding.
- Top with remaining chopped pecans if desired and refrigerate before serving.
