Pistolettes are delicious stuffed bread rolls filled with a flavorful mixture of seasoned beef, rice, broccoli, and melted cheese, perfect for a hearty family meal or casual gathering.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 2 bags pistolette rolls
  • 2 cups cooked Minute rice
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 package steamed broccoli

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with chopped onion in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Cook the Minute rice and steamed broccoli separately until done.
  3. Combine the cooked beef, rice, broccoli, and cubed Velveeta cheese in the skillet.
  4. Add cream of mushroom soup and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Mix well and cook until the cheese is melted and the mixture is heated through.
  6. Hollow out the pistolette rolls, creating a pocket for the filling.
  7. Stuff each roll with the beef and rice mixture.
  8. Place the filled rolls on a baking sheet and cook according to the package instructions for the rolls.
