Delicious pizza bread appetizers feature rolled dough filled with pepperoni, provolone, and savory egg mixture, perfect for sharing at parties or casual gatherings with classic Italian flavors.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
  • 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 loaves frozen dough-thawed
  • 8 oz pepperoni
  • 8 oz provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Beat together eggs, oregano, and Parmesan cheese.
  2. Roll each dough loaf into two 8 x 14 inch rectangles.
  3. Spread the egg mixture on the dough, reserving 3 tablespoons.
  4. Layer pepperoni and provolone cheese on top of the egg-coated dough.
  5. Roll the dough jelly-roll style to enclose the filling.
  6. Place seam-side down on a greased baking sheet and seal the ends.
  7. Brush the top with the reserved egg mixture.
  8. Bake in a 350°F oven for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Slice into appetizer-sized pieces and serve plain or with marinara sauce.
