Ingredients

  • 10 discos (empanadas pastry)
  • 1 1/2 lb Italian sausage
  • 1/4 lb bacon chopped finely
  • 3 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 large onion chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp granulated garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 lb shredded cheese cheddar, Monterey jack,asadero, quesadilla cheeses
  • 1/4 cup manischewitz concord grape wine
  • 7 oz pepperoni sliced
  • 12 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. cook the bacon till crisp
  2. add onions and sausage
  3. let sausage cook add garlic
  4. add parmesan cheese add salt
  5. start cooking the sauce to a pot add tomato paste spices add vinegar to water stir into sauce should be thick as mayonnaise
  6. to the discos add sauce
  7. add pepperoni
  8. add meat
  9. add cheese take egg wash brush on half the outer edge of disco flod and crimp with fork
  10. set in freezer to harden empanadas 30 minutes I used coconut oil to deep fry these in cook till golden brown
