Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. cherry jello
  • 1 c. Grape-Nuts
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 tasty apple, cut fine
  • 2 oz. citron, cut fine
  • 3 English walnuts, finely chopped
  • 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 lemon (juice only)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the cherry jello in 1 pint of hot water.
  2. Add the Grape-Nuts, raisins, finely chopped apple, citron, chopped walnuts, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla flavoring, and salt.
  3. Stir all ingredients well until thoroughly combined.
  4. Chill until set.
  5. Serve with whipped cream.
