Poco Pepper Rolls

Cream cheese, cheddar, green chiles, and olives are rolled into flaky crescent dough for a spicy, cheesy appetizer perfect for parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green chiles
  • 2 tablespoons chopped ripe olives
  • 1 teaspoon instant minced onion
  • 5 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 8 oz. can crescent dinner rolls

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded Cheddar, chopped green chiles, chopped ripe olives, instant minced onion, and hot pepper sauce; blend well.
  2. Separate the crescent dough into 2 rectangles. Press perforations to seal.
  3. Spread half of the cheese mixture over each rectangle.
  4. Starting at the long edge, roll up each rectangle jelly roll fashion.
  5. Place the rolled dough on a greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Serve hot.
