"Poke" Chops

Ingredients

  • 8 pork chops
  • meat tenderizer
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the pork chops with meat tenderizer and poke into the meat with a fork to tenderize.
  2. Combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vegetable oil, and garlic salt in a shallow pan or casserole dish to create the marinade.
  3. Place the pork chops in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Poke the meat and turn the chops occasionally while marinating.
  5. Preheat the grill and cook the pork chops for about 10 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Alternatively, broil in the oven.
  6. Baste the pork chops with the leftover marinade while cooking for extra flavor.
