Instructions
- Soak dry mushrooms in water for about 3 hours.
- Drain the mushrooms.
- In a large pot, brown the bottom round roast on all sides.
- Add the soaked mushrooms, chopped onion, sliced dill pickle, peppercorns, bay leaf, and beef bouillon to the pot.
- Cook on the stove top for 2 to 3 hours until the beef is tender.
- During the last half hour of cooking, add sour cream to the pot.
- Mix well to create a creamy sauce.
