A hearty casserole combining seasoned ground beef, corn, tomato sauce, and creamy mashed potatoes topped with cheese, perfect for comforting family dinners and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 c. Mexican corn
  • 1 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 c. instant potatoes
  • 1 slice cheese
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano

Instructions

  1. Boil hamburger until done; drain.
  2. Add all ingredients except potatoes and cheese into the dish.
  3. Put the mixture in a baking dish.
  4. Prepare instant potatoes according to the package instructions.
  5. Spoon the prepared potatoes on top of the mixture in the baking dish.
  6. Break cheese into pieces and sprinkle on top of the potatoes.
  7. Bake in a 400°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
