Ingredients

  • 1-6 oz. pkg. nestles semi sweet chips
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. orange extract
  • 2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 c. nuts

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate over hot water with sugar, corn syrup, and water, stirring until fully mixed and sugar is melted.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in orange extract.
  3. Quickly mix in the crushed vanilla wafers and chopped nuts.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and roll in sugar.
  5. Let the pomanders cool thoroughly.
  6. Store in a covered container for 3 to 4 weeks.
