Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 green pepper, cut into 6 rings
  • chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper, then brown in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Spread the uncooked rice evenly in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  4. Place the browned pork chops on top of the rice.
  5. On each pork chop, place a green pepper ring and a heaping teaspoon of chili sauce.
