- In a skillet, brown the pork steaks on both sides.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and add 1/2 teaspoon salt, ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar to the pan drippings.
- Stir the mixture together.
- Add the pork and beans, lima beans, and kidney beans to the skillet.
- Transfer the bean mixture into a baking dish and lay the pork steaks on top.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 teaspoon salt on top of the steaks.
- Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for 1 hour.
- Remove the cover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
