Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with foil or spray with Pam and arrange crackers in a single layer.
  2. In a saucepan, bring butter and light brown sugar to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Quickly pour the hot butter mixture over the crackers and spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top of the layered crackers.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 to 12 minutes.
  6. Allow the pralines to cool slightly before removing from the baking sheet.
  7. Separate the pralines onto wire racks and let cool completely.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
