Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
  • 2/3 c. white Karo syrup
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 small can Pet milk
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Mix the dark brown sugar, white Karo syrup, and butter in a saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture to boiling point while stirring.
  3. Remove from stove and allow to cool.
  4. When the mixture is lukewarm, add the Pet milk and stir well.
  5. Store the praline topping in the refrigerator.
  6. When ready to serve, top with chopped pecans or mix them into the cooled mixture.
