- Mix the dark brown sugar, white Karo syrup, and butter in a saucepan.
- Heat the mixture to boiling point while stirring.
- Remove from stove and allow to cool.
- When the mixture is lukewarm, add the Pet milk and stir well.
- Store the praline topping in the refrigerator.
- When ready to serve, top with chopped pecans or mix them into the cooled mixture.
