Ingredients

  • 29 oz. can cut yams, drained
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place drained yams in an ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole or baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, chopped pecans, shredded coconut, and melted butter to make the praline topping.
  4. Sprinkle the praline mixture evenly over the yams.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
