Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup melted margarine
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 boxes strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Mix the crushed pretzels, melted margarine, and sugar together and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Bake at 400°F for 8 minutes. Let the crust cool completely.
  3. Cream the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth, then spread over the cooled crust.
  4. Dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water and mix in the strawberries.
  5. Let the jello mixture stand for 10 minutes to slightly set.
  6. Pour the jello mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. When ready to serve, generously top with Cool Whip.
