Puff Dessert Pie

- Boil 1 cup water and 1 stick of oleo (butter).
- Add 1 cup flour to the boiling mixture and cook until a dough forms.
- Beat 4 eggs one at a time into the flour mixture until smooth.
- Spread the batter in an oblong pan to form the base.
- Mix together the can of pumpkin, 2 cans of milk, 2 eggs, brown sugar, and pumpkin spices to make the filling.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture over the spread dough in the pan.
- Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 375°F and bake for an additional 45 minutes.
- Check with a knife; if it comes out clean, the pie is done.
- The pie will have a nice brown crust on top.
