Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Beat eggs slightly in a bowl.
  3. Mix in milk, then add flour and grated nutmeg; leave batter slightly lumpy.
  4. Melt butter in a large ovenproof skillet.
  5. Pour batter into the skillet with melted butter.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  8. Sift confectioners sugar over the top before serving.
