Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 10 c. puffed wheat

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add sugar, syrup, and vanilla to the melted butter and mix well.
  3. Cook for 3 1/2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and pour over puffed wheat.
  5. Stir until the puffed wheat is evenly coated.
  6. Press the mixture into a greased pan and let cool before cutting into squares.
