Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Instructions

  1. Bring butter, brown sugar, and Karo syrup to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the syrup from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
  3. Pour the hot mixture over Puffin Corn and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Bake the coated Puffin Corn in a 225°F oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool before serving.
