Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 lb. 13 oz. can pumpkin or 3 1/2 cups pumpkin
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Use Mom's pie crust recipe or pastry shells.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs until well mixed.
  4. Add pumpkin, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and allspice; mix thoroughly.
  5. Gradually stir in milk until smooth.
  6. Pour filling into prepared pie crust or pastry shells.
