A vibrant, sweet and tangy purple jello salad combining cranberries, orange, pineapple, and cream cheese for a refreshing dessert suitable for family gatherings or holidays.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium can crushed pineapple
  • 2 (3 oz.) packages lime jello
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Grind cranberries and whole orange together.
  2. Add sugar and set aside.
  3. Heat crushed pineapple and juice to boiling; add dry lime jello, stir until dissolved.
  4. Cool slightly and add cream cheese, stirring until melted.
  5. Add cranberry mixture, chopped celery, chopped nuts, and Cool Whip.
  6. Stir until well blended.
  7. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  8. Chill well before serving.
