Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 can mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground chuck in a skillet with salt, pepper, and onion powder.
  2. Remove excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Transfer the cooked beef to a casserole dish.
  4. Layer sliced potatoes over the beef.
  5. Add a layer of canned vegetables of your choice.
  6. Top with cream of chicken or mushroom soup.
  7. Pour about 1/2 cup of water over the layers.
  8. Bake in a conventional oven until potatoes are soft, about 1 hour, or microwave for 15 minutes until potatoes are done.
  9. Serve hot with dinner rolls.
