A quick and satisfying pasta dish featuring linguini, savory mushrooms, and meat chunks, all coated in a creamy egg and milk sauce, perfect for a hearty weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. linguini
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can (1 cup) meat chunks (ham, turkey, chicken)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 can milk
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cook linguini in boiling, salted water until al dente.
  2. Drain and rinse the linguini.
  3. While linguini is cooking, separate the meat chunks.
  4. Mix together the eggs and milk in a small container.
  5. In a large pan over high heat, melt the butter.
  6. Add the drained mushrooms and meat chunks, season with salt and pepper, and sauté.
  7. Add the cooked linguini to the pan, stirring to coat with the mixture.
  8. Pour in the liquid egg and milk mixture.
  9. Stir constantly for 5 to 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  10. Serve immediately.
