Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen bread, thawed
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 small package vanilla pudding, prepared to serve
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • chopped nuts
  • raisins, optional

Instructions

  1. Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan.
  2. Place chopped nuts and raisins in the bottom of the pan.
  3. Cut each loaf of thawed bread into 8 pieces.
  4. In a saucepan, heat the butter, brown sugar, vanilla pudding, milk, water, and cinnamon until melted and well combined.
  5. Place the bread pieces on top of the nuts and raisins in the pan.
  6. Pour the hot mixture slowly over the bread dough.
  7. Let the mixture rise until doubled in size.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
