Ingredients

  • 2 fresh catfish fillets
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs (Italian style)
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. dill

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F.
  2. Rinse and pat dry the catfish fillets.
  3. Dip the fillets in milk.
  4. Place the fillets, skin side down, in a foil-lined pan sprayed with cooking oil spray.
  5. Mix bread crumbs with thyme, dill, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Add margarine to the bread crumb mixture to moisten and spoon or sprinkle over the fish.
  7. Bake uncovered for about 12 to 15 minutes, or longer if the fillets are thick.
