A decadent caramel ring featuring flaky biscuits, toasted nuts, and rich caramel sauce, perfect for sharing at gatherings or as a sweet indulgence for special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans Hungry Jack flaky biscuits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the margarine.
  3. Coat the bottom and sides of a 12-cup fluted pan with 2 tablespoons of melted margarine.
  4. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of chopped nuts on the bottom of the prepared pan.
  5. Add remaining nuts, brown sugar, and water to the remaining margarine; heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  6. Separate each of the 10-ounce cans of flaky biscuits into 10 biscuits each, then cut each biscuit in half and shape into a ball.
  7. Place 20 biscuit balls in the bottom of the prepared pan.
  8. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the biscuit balls.
  9. Repeat layers with remaining biscuit balls and caramel sauce.
  10. Bake at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Immediately invert the pan onto waxed paper and remove.
  12. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
