Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 8 to 10 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package flour tortillas
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken breasts, then remove from broth and set aside.
  2. Debone the cooked chicken and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Add cream of chicken soup to the broth and bring to a low boil, blending well.
  4. Return the chopped chicken to the broth mixture.
  5. Cut flour tortillas in half, then each half into several small pieces.
  6. Drop tortilla pieces into the boiling broth.
  7. Cook uncovered on medium heat for 30 minutes.
  8. Reduce heat to simmer and cover before serving.
