Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Transfer mixture to a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Cover with foil.
  4. Bake for 2 hours at 300°F (or 1 hour at 375°F).
  5. Remove foil for the last 20 minutes of baking.
