Ingredients

  • 4 large cans pinto beans
  • 1 (8 oz.) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • dash of garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Brown diced onions and garlic in a skillet.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until completely browned; drain off excess grease.
  3. Add garlic salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Wash pinto beans in a colander; drain.
  5. In a large pot, combine beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and chili powder.
  6. Bring to a low boil.
  7. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Add the meat and onion mixture to the beans.
  9. Simmer for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  10. Stir well and serve.
