Ingredients

  • 2 cans Showboat pork and beans
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 Tbsp molasses
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 3 or 4 drops Louisiana hot sauce or dash or 2 cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix together the canned pork and beans, sautéed onion, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, catsup, and hot sauce or cayenne pepper.
  2. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish.
  3. Bake until bubbly and the mixture is dried down and thickened.
  4. Serve hot, optionally with wieners or franks buried in the mixture.
