Quick Pasty Casserole
A hearty, comforting casserole featuring seasoned ground beef, potatoes, rutabaga, and a flaky crescent roll crust, perfect for family dinners or cozy gatherings.

Instructions
- Place chipped potatoes into a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Crumble ground beef over potatoes.
- Add chopped onions and rutabaga on top of the ground beef layer.
- Season with salt and pepper, then slice margarine over all.
- Cover with foil and bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and drain off excess grease.
- Mix cream of mushroom soup with water and pour evenly over the casserole surface.
- Cover again with foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven, uncover, and unroll crescent rolls to make a flat crust on top.
- Bake uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
