Ingredients

  • 1 pheasant, cut up
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 can French fried onion rings

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix into a buttered 2-quart casserole.
  2. Sprinkle uncooked rice over the soup mix.
  3. Add the cut-up pheasant pieces on top.
  4. Dilute the cream of chicken soup with the can of milk and pour over the pheasant.
  5. Cover the casserole and bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  6. Uncover the casserole and sprinkle with French fried onion rings.
  7. Bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until the onion rings are crispy.
