Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground round
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Chop the whole tomatoes and add them with their juice to the skillet.
  3. Place the cabbage on top of the tomato and beef mixture.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover and cook until the cabbage is tender.
  6. Serve the hot mixture over cooked rice.
