Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2 1/2) can cling peaches
  • 1 (No. 2 1/2) can pineapple slices
  • 1 (No. 2 1/2) can apricot halves
  • 1 (No. 2 1/2) can pear halves
  • 1 (6 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Drain syrup from all fruit, reserving 2 tablespoons of pineapple syrup.
  2. Dry the fruit well on paper towels.
  3. Arrange the fruit in a 2-quart casserole, placing cherries on top.
  4. Melt margarine with ginger, then stir in the reserved pineapple syrup and brown sugar.
  5. Heat until well blended, then pour over the arranged fruit.
  6. Bake uncovered in a 325°F oven for 40 minutes.
