Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground meat
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 large can whole kernel corn
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • garlic powder
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Pour the meat mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine two small packages of corn bread mix with one tablespoon of onion flakes.
  3. Pour the corn bread mixture over the meat mixture in the dish.
  4. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30 to 40 minutes.
  5. Grate cheese and sprinkle over the top if desired.
