Ingredients

  • 5 (3 oz.) pkg. gelatin (orange, lemon, lime, cherry, black cherry)
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 5 c. cold water

Instructions

  1. Dissolve one package of gelatin in 1 cup boiling water.
  2. Pour 2/3 cup of the gelatin into a mold or 8x8-inch pan; refrigerate and let set.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons sour cream to the remaining 1/3 cup hot dissolved gelatin and beat.
  4. Pour and spread the sour cream mixture over the first layer.
  5. Repeat the procedure with the remaining four packages of gelatin, allowing each layer to set before adding the next.
  6. It will take about 1 hour for the first layer to set, and subsequent layers will set quickly.
