Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oleo
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Cream egg, sugar, oleo, and vanilla together.
  2. Drain water from cooked raisins and cool.
  3. Sift flour, cinnamon, and baking soda, then add to the creamed mixture.
  4. Add raisins and chopped nuts to the batter.
  5. Spread the mixture on a cookie sheet and bake at 325°F for 30 minutes.
