Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup rolled or quick oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 cup seedless raspberry preserves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and butter a 9 x 9-inch pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the all-purpose flour, salt, oats, and chopped walnuts to the mixture and combine until crumbly.
  4. Press two-thirds of the crumb mixture evenly into the prepared pan to form the base.
  5. Spread the seedless raspberry preserves over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture evenly over the raspberry layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
