Ingredients

  • 2 packages raspberry gelatin
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 can (16 oz.) crushed pineapple undrained
  • 1 box frozen raspberries thawed with juice
  • 2 to 3 mashed bananas

Instructions

  1. Mix the raspberry gelatin with boiling water in a large bowl until dissolved.
  2. Add the crushed pineapple (with juice), thawed frozen raspberries, and mashed bananas to the gelatin mixture and stir well.
  3. Pour half of the mixture into a mold and let it set at room temperature.
  4. About one hour later, spread a 16-ounce container of sour cream evenly over the firm gelatin.
  5. Pour the remaining gelatin mixture over the sour cream layer.
  6. Refrigerate until completely chilled and firm, up to two days in advance.
